RaeLynn may be a young woman, but that doesn’t stop her old coach from The Voice, Blake Shelton, from treating her like a young girl who needs protecting from the opposite sex. RaeLynn says, “Yeah, Blake is super protective over guys that I talk to and you’d think since I’m 20 that that would’ve changed, but no he still says, ‘I still think of you as 17. You can’t do that,’ or whatever. He’s nice to the guys that I talk to but he’s definitely protective.”

The “God Made Girls” singer says for the most part she likes that Blake is so protective, except when she meets a guy she thinks is really cute and Blake steps in, but she says otherwise, “He’s awesome. He’s like my Dad in this business. Him and Miranda, they’re just lookin’ out for me and it’s all good.”

It’s a big week for RaeLynn as she just announced that she will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, September 26 in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry house. Last week, Raelynn sat down and shared what she calls her personal side of songwriting with Fox News on the Country 411. Also just announced, Raelynn will be one of the special guest acts for the Benning Bash, a concert event featuring headliner Kool & The Gang September 13 on York Field.
