Justin Moore is one of the more “country” acts in country music, so he knows some people might be surprised that he recorded and released “Home Sweet Home” off the new Motley Crue tribute album. Justin agrees, “(It’s) probably the most random, but maybe the most exciting thing I’ve ever done.” But he explains, “It’s just one of those opportunities that I couldn’t pass up, and beyond that it’s just a great song.”
Justin knows “Home Sweet Home” is one of Motley Crue’s most iconic hits, but when it came to choosing a song to record for the tribute album he said, “‘Home Sweet Home’ was always one of my favorites, probably my favorite song of theirs. We thought; man, let’s just swing for the fences and throw this out to the radio, and the response has been great.”

Justin Moore – Home Sweet Home :26 (red carpet audio)
“Probably the most random, but maybe the most exciting thing I’ve ever done. It’s just one of those opportunities that I couldn’t pass up, and beyond that it’s just a great song. I went back and kept listenin’ to some of their stuff, and I’m goin’, ‘Man, I forgot about this song, I love this song. Oh, I forgot about that.’ ‘Home Sweet Home’ was always one of my favorites, probably my favorite song of theirs. We thought; man, let’s just swing for the fences and throw this out to the radio and the response has been great.”
