One listen to RaeLynn’s single, “God Made Girls” and there’s no doubt that she’s a country singer, but she admits she has an unusually proficient knowledge of rap songs that even surprises herself sometimes. “I probably know every word to like rap songs,” she says. “I don’t even realize how much I know a rap song until I start singin’ it. I’m like, Oh my God, I know all the words, this is crazy.”
While RaeLynn apparently enjoys rap songs more than she realizes in her own music collection, it’s a pretty safe bet that she won’t be doing any rapping on her debut album, which she is currently working on for release later this year.

Last week, RaeLynn joined celebrities including Sheryl Crow, Jana Kramer, rapper 50 Cent, members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gene Johnson of Diamond Rio and figure skating champion Scott Hamilton in coming together at the Nashville facility to kick off Hunger Action Month. Raelynn has some road dates this week with a free show on Tuesday (9/16) in Louisville, Kentucky at the Tin Roof and a show on Thursday (9/18) in Houston, Texas at the Pasadena Rodeo.
