Rascal Flatts’ music keeps them busy with touring and promoting their latest single, “Payback,” but they’re always open to outside business opportunities if the right one comes along. Jay DeMarcus says, “We have done everything from talk about havin’ our own barbecue sauce to opening up a restaurant.”
Two years ago Rascal Flatts had entered into a partnership with plans to open Rascal Flatts restaurants all across the country, but Jay says, “That deal has since fallen through. The guy that came to us with that deal has gone out of business, so it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen just yet. But we’ve also talked to Donatos Pizza about openin’ up some pizza stores in Nashville. So we’ve got a lotta irons in the fire that we’ve talked about over the years and we’re tryin’ to figure out the best path for us to take.”
For now Rascal Flatts is focused on finishing up their Rewind Tour for the year, which will wrap up on October 11th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
