(AUDIO) The Control Freaks In The Band Perry Love Headlining Shows

The Band Perry have been out on the road with Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour, but prior to that they started the year on their own headlining tour, and Reid admits they loved the experience of headlining because he says, “We’re big control freaks.” Kimberly jokes some of them more than others.

When they headline shows The Band Perry is very involved in every aspect from what happens on stage to what happens backstage. Reid says, “For us, it was all a matter of taking the crowd, while we’re on stage, through the different emotions we wanted them to go through. So, the big highs and getting all the aggression out of the way with ‘Done’ in the beginning, to playing ‘Pioneer’ and ending with ‘Dig Two’. But even backstage presented challenges as well. We want to make it feel as family, and almost summer camp like as we possibly could. So, we threw parties as often as we could and did as much as we could to have fun backstage.”

The Band Perry is busy working on their third album, but they just released their remake of “Gentle On My Mind” off the motion picture soundtrack EP for Glen Campbell … I’ll Be Me.
