Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “Dirt,” not only brings up memories from their past, but it also represents things that are important to them today. Tyler Hubbard says, “From growin’ up as a child and havin’ a garden, to BK playin’ baseball, to racin’ Motorcross, to doin’ all of these things in the dirt man, it’s just there’s somethin’ about it.”
At the same time Tyler says, “There’s somethin’ about havin’ a little piece of ground that you own, you call your home, and to be honest that’s somethin’ that we’ve got to experience the last year buyin’ a place and this song just hits really close to home man for so many reasons. I think in all aspects of life, in all ages.”
For all those reasons he says choosing to record “Dirt” “was a no-brainer, a song that everybody could somehow relate to and so it’s a good one.”
“Dirt” will be on Florida Georgia Line’s next album, Anything Goes, which will be available on October 14th.

On Saturday (10/4) while in Canada for a show, Florida Georgia Line followed around the crew of Fireball Whiskey seeing how everything happens for the brand. This week, the guys play shows on Jason Aldean’s “Burn It Down Tour” on Thursday (10/9) at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania and on Friday (10/10) and Saturday (10/11) at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Michigan.
