The Band Perry is a very fashionable group, and their fashion tends to evolve with their music. Kimberly says their fashion choices are important because, “I feel like we view fashion as a visual extension of our art and if you pay attention to The Band Perry’s dressing habits, they kind of come and go with singles. And I feel like we’re always just tryin’ to give a strong visual.”
While all three members of the band are pretty fashionable, Kimberly admits she probably pays a little more to fashion trends than her brothers. “We do pay attention, well I do especially the girl in the band,” says Kimberly, “and I’m a big fan of fashion magazines and we just try to bring the songs to life with our visual image as well.”
The Band Perry just released their new single, “Gentle on My Mind,” off the soundtrack EP for the new movie, Glen Campbell … I’ll Be Me. They’re also working on the follow-up to their Pioneer album for release sometime in 2015.

With the song, around ‘Done’, they wore lots of leather, and for some reason around ‘Chainsaw’ we had a lot of 90’s grunge, don’t’ ask me why, it’s just what it inspires out of the three of us. But we do pay attention, well I do especially the girl in the band, to fashion trends and I’m a big fan of fashion magazines and we just try to bring the songs to life with our visual image as well.”
WHAT THEY’RE DOING THIS WEEK – OCTOBER 20, 2014 – MONDAY
Last night (10/19), The Band Perry played a benefit show at the screening of the new Glen Campbell bio film I’ll Be Me. The movie is getting some early Oscar buzz.
Last week, the group attended the Paul McCartney concert in Nashville as audience members. They were three of many country stars who saw the legendary Beatle in concert that night.
On Sunday (10/26), the trio will be playing a concert in Welch, Minnesota at the Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
