Florida Georgia Line is nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 48th Annual CMA Awards, which they won last year, and both Tyler and Brian would love to take the trophy home again this year. Tyler says, “It does mean a lot to us to still have our name up there with the best and to be part of Country Music and to be part of these awards shows. It’s still very surreal to us, even though we won that last year. I don’t even know if that’s sunk in yet, but we’re excited about coming back and we’ll see what happens.”
One thing the guys are looking forward to on awards night is catching up with all of their friends who will be at the show. “It’s a night that no matter if you’re nominated or not you go there to celebrate and see a lotta great friends and work and enjoy the night,” says Brian. “We’ve worked all year for that night. The music industry kinda shuts down within weeks right around that time, so it’s nice to catch up and part a little bit and see everybody.”
Florida Georgia Line just released their brand new single, “Sun Daze,” off their Anything Goes album, and they’ll be performing on the CMA Awards, which air live from Nashville, this Wednesday night at 8pm ET/7pm CT on ABC.

I mean, we’re excited just to be back and do that again and get to see all our buddies and anytime we go to these award shows it’s always a good time. WHAT THEY’RE DOING THIS WEEK – NOVEMBER 3, 2014 – MONDAY
Florida Georgia Line will be performing and is a nominee for Vocal Duo of the Year at Wednesday’s (11/5) CMA Awards in Nashville. Then on Saturday (11/8), the duo set sail with a bunch of other artists to play on their own Norwegian Cruise dubbed “This is How We Cruise.”
