As young artists in the music business, Maddie & Tae are happy to get great advice for their careers, and they say some of the best advice they’ve received has been quite simple. “Just staying true to who you are,” says Tae. “Because people will try to sway you to be a certain someone and you’ve just got to stay true to who you are and stick to your roots.” Maddie agrees, and says you’ve got to hang on to what you believe in.
So far, staying true to themselves has resulted in a top five single, “Girl in a Country Song,” which is continuing to climb the charts.

With a full week of shows, the duo plays KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday (12/3), Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday (12/4) and the DLV Events Center in Las Vegas on Friday (12/5).
