Florida Georgia Line’s new single, “Sun Daze,” is one they wrote while out on tour with Nelly this summer. Tyler Hubbard says, “Our album was pretty much finished and we had a couple of friends come out, amazing songwriters, and we were writing all weekend and came out with ‘Sun Daze.’ That was the last song we wrote, finished it up on a Sunday and it was just a special day. We were all on the bus jammin’ it all night and I just knew it was a special one.”

Tyler is excited because he says, “It feels like now’s the right time for the song. We’re gonna give people again, maybe what they don’t expect and something they’ve never heard before, another side of Florida Georgia Line that they haven’t heard.”

Florida Georgia Line will be performing live and be honored at CMT’s Artists of the Year on Tuesday (12/2) in Nashville. The guys are off the road till they kick off their big headlining tour in January, but they are still busy this holiday season as they are set to host the 2014 American Country Countdown Awards on December 15 in Nashville where they are multiple nominees.
