Some people discover music as a career in college or later, but RaeLynn says she knew from a very early age that being a performer is what she was born to do. She says, “I grew up going to all these different country festivals and festivals in Texas and when I would see people perform on stage I just knew that’s what I wanted to do. There was nothing that could change it. I think it’s just that intuition of just knowing what you are supposed to do in life.”
RaeLynn, whose single, “God Made Girls,” just entered the top 20, says it was seeing amazing artists like Miranda Lambert performing when she was younger that made her realize exactly what she wanted to do.

“Yeah, it was definitely my family and it was just second nature. I grew up going to all these different country festivals and festivals in Texas and when I would see people perform on stage I just knew that’s what I wanted to do. And right when I saw Miranda (Lambert) perform when I was younger, and all these amazing artists, I just knew that’s what I wanted to do.”
