When it comes to football, Tim McGraw admits he is a bit of a junkie, watching all levels, anytime he can. “When football season is on I watch every game I can possibly watch,” says Tim, “college, professional and even every Friday night high school game that we can when we’re at home.” If Tim ever misses a game he has ESPN to help him catch up. He says, “During football season, ESPN is on quite a bit.”

Undoubtedly, Tim, whose latest single, “Shotgun Rider” is in the top five and climbing, will be catching a lot of football while he’s got some time off for the holidays.

“I’m a football junkie, and certainly when football season is on I watch every game I can possibly watch, college, professional and even every Friday night high school game that we can when we’re at home. You know, our daughter’s a cheerleader, Maggie, she’s a cheerleader, so we try to make all the games. We rarely miss one, although I had to miss a few because I’m working. Now if I’m gonna watch anything about what happened in football that I missed, I’m certainly gonna have it on ESPN. And ESPN, to be fair, I mean I’m trying to sound more cultured than I am, but to be fair, during football season, ESPN is on quite a bit.”

WHAT HE’S DOING THIS WEEK – DECEMBER 1, 2014 – MONDAY 

Tim McGraw spent his past Thanksgiving weekend in Mississippi with his girl’s grandparents at Faith Hill’s parent’s house. Off the road for a while now, it looks like McGraw has a lot of local and national football to look to for entertainment.
