RaeLynn has a lot of musical influences, including Miranda Lambert, whom she says she is obsessed with and also Dolly Parton. In fact, RaeLynn says, “If I ever met (Dolly) I’d probably cry. I would cry, and maybe throw up. She’s amazing.”
Beyond her two favorite strong women, RaeLynn says, “I grew up listening to Shania Twain, Keith Urban, older stuff like Johnny Cash, The Judds, I was a big fan of The Judds. Growing up in Texas you love Texas Country and so I love Randy Rogers Band and Josh Abbott Band, all those guys too.”
RaeLynn revealed the cover of her forthcoming EP on her social networks. The new EP, featuring her song, “God Made Girls,” will be released during the fist quarter of 2015.
