The Band Perry admits they each play a certain role as siblings and as members of the group, which they’ve pretty well established over the years. Reid pays Kimberly a compliment by saying she’s a great cook, but he also points out, “She is the bossy one in the bunch.”
Neil thinks that’s to be expected. He says, “She’s the oldest sister and I think all older sisters are alike. They have their hands on the steering wheel a little bit more and when someone tries to turn on the radio they’ll slap their hand and turn it back off.”
In her defense, Kimberly says, “Well, I don’t slap, I just say, ‘Hey, can we turn that down just a little bit?’”
Fortunately, despite all their quirks and idiosyncrasies, they all manage to get along most of the time and make great music like their latest single, their cover of Glen Campbell’s “Gentle on My Mind.”

The Band Perry has been working on a new album. The trio has one tour date this month on January 25 in Pembroke Pines, Florida at C. B. Smith Park.
