(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Confess Their First Concerts

For some people the first concert they ever see is a memorable moment, or sometimes it can be a little embarrassing to admit. Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line can’t remember exactly which concert was his first, but he says, “It had to be in the Christian realm. I think it was like Casting Crowns, maybe Third Day, one of the two.”

Brian Kelley thinks a Lonestar concert might have been his first, but he also admits to another early concert experience. “Don’t judge me,” he says. “I think it was one of my first. When I was in like sixth grade we had family friends and I was friends with the son and it was his sister’s birthday, so I tagged along and got invited to go to a Backstreet Boys concert.”

This year Florida Georgia Line could be a first concert experience for some country music fans. They’ll launch their Anything Goes Tour this Thursday, January 15th, with special guests Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard. Their current single, “Sun Daze” is currently in the top ten and still climbing, possibly on its way to becoming their seventh consecutive number one song.

Tyler Hubbard – “It had to be in the Christian realm. I think it was like Casting Crowns, maybe Third Day, one of the two. Honestly, I don’t remember it. It obviously didn’t affect me very much.”
Brian Kelley – “I saw Lonestar a long time ago … a long, long time ago. That might have been my first one. And, for what it’s worth, don’t judge me, I think it was one of my first. When I was in like sixth grade we had family friends and I was friends with the son and it was his sister’s birthday, so I tagged along and got invited to go to a Backstreet Boys concert.”
