(AUDIO) Lennon Stella Finds A Balance Between School and Working On ABC’s NASHVILLE

Lennon Stella, who plays Maddie Conrad on ABC’s Nashville manages to maintain a good balance between work and school thanks to a tutor and the ability to attend her regular public school when she’s not working. Lennon explains, “We have a tutor on the set so when we’re not filming I go to public school, and Maisy does the same. So we’re both in public school and whenever we’re not on set we are there 100% of the time.”

She admits it can be a little weird sometimes because they may only get to go to their regular school every few weeks, but she says being able to do that, “It’s best way to keep it so we’re totally normal and I can go do normal things with friends and like stay in school and go to fun things, just teenager stuff, and Maisy’s the same. So, it works for both of us, absolutely.”

Nashville will return with brand new episodes after their winter break beginning Wednesday, February 4th, on ABC.

“We have a tutor on the set so when we’re not filming I go to public school, and Maisy does the same. So we’re both in public school and whenever we’re not on set we are there 100% of the time. Well, when we’re not here, when we’re not traveling, but, there probably like, I guess half and half. So, half of the year filming and half of the year in school. For the most part it works. It’s a little difficult just ‘cause you pop in for like once every few weeks and are like ‘Hi!’ So, it’s kind of like a weird thing, but it works for us and it’s best way to keep it so we’re totally normal and I can go do normal things with friends and like stay in school and go to fun things, just teenager stuff, and Maisy’s the same.
