Maddie & Tae work hard to stay healthy and stay in shape but they admit they both have their weaknesses when it comes to candy. “Oh, Kit Kats, good Lord!,” exclaims Maddie Marlow. Tae Dye says, “Oh I’m obsessed with Twizzlers. I have a box with me like right next to me, so it’s pretty obvious.”

But the girls try to keep their candy cravings under control by being aware of their hunger cues. “On the road, we have this thing called emotional hunger and it’s basically like, you’re physical hunger is typically maybe like a five, but your emotional hunger is like a twelve, because it’s been like stressful and stuff,” explains Maddie. When her emotional hunger gets so high that she has to have some candy, Maddie says it’s either Kit Kats or right now, Twix bars.

Maddie & Tae just released their new single, “Fly,” the follow-up to their #1 hit, “Girl in a Country Song.”

Tae – “They are low fat, and they’re baby bites, but they’re almost gone, so … (laughter).”

WHAT THEY’RE DOING THIS WEEK – JANUARY 19, 2015 – MONDAY 

Maddie & Tae were announced as opening acts on Dierks Bentley’s just announced “Sounds Of Summer Tour” for 2015 and last week jumped in a cold Nashville lake (Percy Priest) along with Dierks, Kip Moore and Canaan Smith to announce the new tour.
