Maddie & Tae are busy promoting their brand new song, “Fly,” which they just released as the follow-up to their #1 song, “Girl in a Country Song,” but when they’re no working, they admit they enjoy playing games, among other things. Tae Dye says one of their favorite ways to pass the time is “Playing ‘Skip-Bo’ and Maddie winning.” Maddie says it’s true. “She’s not lying. I’m the Skip-Bo queen.” She also loves hunting and fishing.

A little known fact about Tae is that she likes to do the Rubik’s Cube. Maddie is deeply impressed, saying, “It’s awesome. She can do it in like under two minutes. It’s ridiculous.” But Tae disagrees and says, “That’s not good at all. I need to work on it.”

Aside from playing games, the two girls say they also love crafting and bargain shopping. Maddie smiles and says, ”Getting a bargain will make a bad day a good one.”

WHAT THEY’RE DOING THIS WEEK – FEBRUARY 2, 2015 – MONDAY 

Maddie & Tae scored their very first award nomination on Friday (1/30) when they learned they were nominated for an ACM Award for Vocal Duo. Meanwhile, the girls are getting ready for their first tour of Australia in March.
