A Thousand Horses is made up of Zach Brown, Michael Hobby, Graham DeLoach and Bill Satcher, and their sound is a mixture of all their personalities and influences. “We all draw from stuff that we grew up listenin’ to,” says Zach. “Classic Rock to Old Country, Blues. Musically, I think we’re influenced by a lotta that stuff. Lyrically, we’re definitely influenced by a lotta Country stuff.”

They love the fact that country music is all about the story because Zach says, “We try to tell a story in all of our songs and hope that people get something out of everything.”
You can hear A Thousand Horses’ debut story in their single, “Smoke,” which will be featured on their debut album, Southernality, available this summer.

Zach Brown – “I think our sound’s just kinda like it’s a mixture of a lotta things. The cool thing about a band is you got four different personalities and influences comin’ into it and we all draw from stuff that we grew up listenin’ to, Classic Rock to Old Country, Blues.
