When Eli Young Band first started out in Texas, they were just a bunch of guys with big dreams trying to build a grassroots following, so now when they look at where they’re at, and the fact that they have over 1.6 million fans on Facebook and over 465,000 followers on Twitter, James Young says, “It really is amazing. We’ve kinda started grass roots back in Texas, and when we started Facebook wasn’t even invented, so it’s pretty amazing.”
Mike Eli thinks back to their beginning almost 15 years ago and he laughs when he says back then, “They had just started MySpace.”
But the guys are grateful for all the fans who have come along with them on their journey, and they look forward to making even more fans with the release of their brand new single, “Turn It On,” on March 10th.
