One listen to A Thousand Horses debut single and it’s easy to hear their Southern Rock take on country, and lead guitar player Bill Satcher says, “We’re all pretty heavily influenced by Rock ‘n Roll and Country, and so when we get together and just naturally write songs, it comes out.”
“Smoke” will be featured on A Thousand Horses’ debut album, Southernality, which will be released this summer.

A Thousand Horses was deep in interviews during Country radio Seminar last week in Nashville. The guys play on Darius Rucker’s tour this summer. As for their name, the group says they picked it because it sounded cool and it’s the only name that everyone liked.
