Sometimes when a contestant leaves a reality show and begins working on their music career, they’re still figuring out who they are as an artist and what kind of music they want to make, but Craig Wayne Boyd, winner of season seven of The Voice, says he was fortunate to win the show when he did. “When I was on the show I kinda walked in as a seasoned veteran per se,” he says. “I’ve been doing this for the past 11 years and I’ve finally, over those 11 years, found where I was as a person, and where I was musically too. So, coming into putting an album together, it comes pretty natural at this point.”

Craig is currently working on his debut album, which will feature his single, “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face.”
