(AUDIO) Reba To Headline Outnumber Hunger Concert Event

Don’t be surprised if you see Reba’s face on a box of Cheerios. She’s part of the General Mills Outnumber Hunger campaign to help raise awareness of the 49 million people struggling with hunger in America. Reba comments, “I was raised to treat others with compassion. Knowing that one in six Americans struggle with hunger means my fans and people I see every day need help.”

In conjunction with the campaign launch, she’ll headline a special Reba and Friends Outnumber Hunger concert event, featuring music from her new album Love Somebody, due out April 14. The show will air nationally on radio and television, including on CMT beginning April 17. Check Outnumber Hunger .com for specific stations and show times.

Giving back is important to Reba, it’s something she learned a lot about from iconic actor and comedian, Bob Hope…

Reba – Advice from Bob Hope :17
You know, I used to work with Bob Hope many years ago. And he said the most important thing you can do with your life, and the stature that you have with your celebrity status. He said “You can help other people so much more, because you can reach more people.” And I’ve always tried to do that. That was great advice.
