Florida Georgia Line loves being nominated for awards because Tyler Hubbard says, “It does mean a lot to us to still have our name up there with the best and to be part of Country Music and to be part of these award shows.”

They’re nominated for ACM Vocal Duo of the Year, which they won last year, and Tyler says, “To be nominated as Vocal Duo again this year is awesome… it’s still very surreal even though we won that last year. I don’t even know if that’s sunk in yet, but we’re excited about comin’ back and we’ll see what happens.”

Florida Georgia Line will be among the performers on this year’s ACM Awards. Perhaps they’ll perform their latest single, “Sippin’ on Fire,” on the show which will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, April 19th on CBS.

Florida Georgia Line will play the Grand Ole Opry next week on Tuesday (4/14). Then it’s off to Dallas for the ACM Awards where they are performing and are nominated for several awards.
