(AUDIO) Tim McGraw Is Thankful For The Wide Spectrum In Country Music

The boundaries of country music continue to grow and expand, and Tim McGraw is thankful for the wide spectrum of music that’s on country radio today. He says, “I love all the stuff that’s out there and I love the progression of Country music. I love the broad spectrum of music that you can find on Country music these days. I think it’s the most dynamic and diverse genre of music that’s out there.”

Tim likes to push his own boundaries and put out different styles of country music on his own albums, so he says, “(To) know that there’s room for that in Country music, it’s cool that you can have a genre that allows that big of a spectrum.”

Tim’s latest single, “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools,” which has more of a traditional sound, is currently making its way up the country charts.

Tim McGraw – diversity of country :25
“I love all the stuff that’s out there and I love the progression of Country music. I love the broad spectrum of music that you can find on Country music these days. I think it’s the most dynamic and diverse genre of music that’s out there. So, when you can do somethin’ like, ‘Meanwhile Back At Mama’s’, and you can hear that on the radio, then you can also do somethin’ like, ‘Lookin’ for That Girl’, and you can do those sort a things and know that there’s room for that in Country music. It’s cool that you can have a genre that allows that big of a spectrum.”
