A Thousand Horses was nominated for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards, and according to lead singer Michael Hobby, “It’s a huge honor, you know, to be recognized by your peers and people in the industry. It was completely unexpected for us. We were blown away when we got the calls. You know your phone starts lighting up early in the morning.”
Brothers Osborne have already been announced as the winners of the New Vocal Duo or Group award in advance of Sunday’s show, but Michael says, “It’s just a huge deal to be in people’s minds, you know having a new single coming out and everything. We can’t wait to get to Vegas again. Vegas is always fun, you know, and to be a part of country music.”
A Thousand Horses just released their new single, “Preachin’ to the Choir.”
