(AUDIO) 2020 WAS A BLESSING AND A REMINDER FOR TYLER RICH THAT HE IS EXACTLY WHERE HE’S MEANT TO BE

CURRENT SINGLE – “Better Than You’re Used To”

Prior to the pandemic, Tyler Rich had been building his fanbase and exposing more and more people to his music, preparing to release his Two Thousand Miles album (which he did release in August 2020) and he felt a lot of hope and momentum heading into 2020 … and then the world stopped.  And while it was hard on Tyler mentally, just like it was on the rest of us, he managed to find the positive in such a weird and uncomfortable time in our lives.  “I 100% wish I was on the road, still with the momentum that we had going, cause we were on fire and it sucks to get that momentum stripped out of you,” says Tyler.  “But at the same time I’ve grown so much as a person, and so much even as a writer over this.”

Not only did 2020 give Tyler a chance to work on himself as a human, and uninterrupted time to work on his songwriting skills, it also erased any little doubts he might have had about whether he was on the right path.  Tyler admits, “There’s been hard times on the road where I’m like, ‘God, maybe I’m supposed to just write songs. Maybe I’m not supposed to be out here 250 days a year,’ you know. And every artist has that, those little moments of weakness. And for me this 2020 pause has fully helped me understand and embrace that I am not meant for anything other than that. I am supposed to be out there doing that right now.”

You can catch Tyler on his Two Thousand Miles Tour with special guest Shy Carter.  Just check TylerRichMusic.com for his updated tour schedule.
