A Thousand Horses is out on tour with Darius Rucker, who happens to be an excellent golfer, and the guys admit they’re hoping to improve their golf game by playing with him. Michael Hobby says, “Man, I play and I can lose some balls.” Zach Brown jokes, “I can make a divot with the best of ‘em.”

While their golf games aren’t so great now, the guys in A Thousand Horses are hoping to improve their skills by playing with Darius while they’re on tour together. “Maybe he’ll teach us how to play a little bit better, give us some pointers and tips,” says Michael. “Yeah, that’d be fun. I love playing golf.”

Fortunately the band’s ability to record and perform great music is a lot better than their golf games. They just celebrated their debut song, “Smoke” becoming their first #1 hit, and now they’re hoping to make it to the top of the charts with their brand new single, “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial.”
