A Thousand Horses will be part of Darius Rucker’s Southern Style Tour, which kicks off this week, and the guys are looking forward to it because they say Darius has always been great to them anytime they’ve ever played a show with him. Michael Hobby says, “It’s really nice of him to ask us to come out this summer on his ‘Big Southern Style’ tour, so we’re really excited. It’s a great lineup with Brothers Osborne, Brett Eldredge, and we can’t wait to just get out there and be a part of it. But yeah, he’s a great guy, just really nice to us.”
Darius has also been generous, once buying Graham Deloach a pair of boots. “Yeah. He’s kind of been a little bit of a mentor along the way,” says Graham. “We’ve done a lot of shows with him so he always takes care of us and looks out for us. His whole crew and everybody, we love ‘em all. We’re stoked.”
The guys are also stoked that their debut single, “Smoke,” is officially top five and still climbing. They’ll release their debut album, Southernality, on June 9th, approximately three weeks after the Southern Style Tour kicks off on May 14th in Holmdel, New Jersey.

A Thousand Horses’ song “Smoke” is continuing to move up the country charts this week at number 5. The band plays “Smoke” on the Today show live on NBC on Monday morning (5/11). The group begins the Darius Rucker “Southern Style Tour” this weekend in New Jersey and then the guys play a show with Rucker in Pennsylvania.
