A Thousand Horses spent their summer on the road with Darius Rucker, and while they failed miserably at his Playstation 4 Madden football challenge, they’re looking forward to watching some college football with Darius when they hit the road with him again this fall. Lead singer Michael Hobby says, “He’s a Gamecock fan, and Bill and I who grew up in South Carolina are Gamecock fans, so we’re lookin’ forward to bein’ on tour with him during College football starting. I’m sure that’s gonna get interesting.”
Darius has his tour bus outfitted with multiple TV’s to be able to catch as many football games as possible when he’s out on the road, and A Thousand Horses’ Bill Satcher predicts, “It’s gonna be wild. He’s got the big, like, big road case TV thing, so it’s gonna be fun.”
A Thousand Horses latest single, “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” is currently climbing the charts while they finish up the summer on some of their own fair and festival dates. Then they will re-join Darius on the Southern Style Tour beginning October 8th.
