There’s a line in A Thousand Horses’ new song, “Preachin’ to the Choir,” that says “every tattoo’s got a story to tell.” Naturally we wondered if any of the guys had tattoos with a story behind them. Surprisingly, Michael Hobby is the only guy in the band with a tattoo and it definitely has a special story behind it. He says, “I had a brother that passed away from cancer when I was younger and so I have two older brothers now and we all got my brother’s initials underneath our arm. So that line to me really rings home because I do have a tattoo with a story to tell and I feel like a lot of people do that I know, and people we’ve met out on the road. So that’s where it rang true to me.”
A Thousand Horses have tour dates scheduled all throughout the spring and summer where fans will have a chance to hear “Preachin’ to the Choir” and possibly some of the other new music they’re working on. Their next dates are April 20th and 21st in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Austin, Texas. You can get a complete list of their tour dates here.
