(AUDIO) A THOUSAND HORSES SET TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM, BRIDGES, JUNE 2ND

A Thousand Horses will release their new album, Bridges, on June 2nd.  Looking at the time between their last album and this one, lead singer Michael Hobby says, “I feel like we’ve grown a ton. I mean we’ve been a band a long time.  Southernality came out a few years ago and we’ve been out on the road with these big heavy hitters for the last two or three years openin’ up for Jason Aldean or Thomas Rhett or Darius Rucker. So we’ve learned a lot from those guys, you know, and learning to play places that we’ve never played that are bigger like stadiums.”

In addition to growing as a band, A Thousand Horses also decided to work with a new producer for their next album.  Michael says, “We switched producers from Dave Cobb to Dan Huff and it’s been absolutely incredible working with Dan and we feel like we’re just kind of elevating our sound as a band to give the best product and the best show that we can out there on the road.”

The new album, Bridges, will feature A Thousand Horses’ latest single, “Preachin’ to the Choir.”

A Thousand Horses – how grown since last album  :43

Michael Hobby – “I feel like we’ve grown a ton. I mean we’ve been a band a long time.  Southernality came out a few years ago and we’ve been out on the road with these big heavy hitters for the last two or three years openin’ up for Jason Aldean or Thomas Rhett or Darius Rucker. So we’ve learned a lot from those guys, you know, and learning to play places that we’ve never played that are bigger like stadiums. I mean we did our first couple of stadium shows this past year. So you evolve as a musician and you evolve as a songwriter and a performer. And I feel like now we’re just getting to the point to where we’re ready to start this second record that we’ve worked on in song-wise and sonically.  We switched producers from Dave Cobb to Dan Huff and it’s been absolutely incredible working with Dan and we feel like we’re just kind of elevating our sound as a band to give the best product and the best show that we can out there on the road.”
