NEW SINGLE – “Undivided w/ Tyler Hubbard”
So often these days, when you hear two artists singing together on a song, there’s a good chance they weren’t in the same room when they recorded it. Thanks to technology, artists don’t have to be together to record a song together, but Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard are glad that they were together when they recorded “Undivided.” “I’m always a big fan of collaborating in person and having that experience in the studio during the creative process,” says Tyler. “I think it’s great to go in there and bring it to life together.”
If you’ve seen the video for “Undivided,” which is a behind-the-scenes look in the recording studio, then you know Tim and Tyler had a great time recording the song. Plus, as Tim points out, “I think this song lent itself to us being together in the studio, if nothing else, but for the title of the song.”
It seems only fitting to be together when recording a song called “Undivided,” but Tim says beyond that, “The energy of the song I think really needed that. And I think that it really paid off in spades. I mean, I’m sure it would’ve worked any other way that we had done it because this song is so great. But to be there together in the studio and really vibe off of each other made a huge difference I think in how it turned out.”
Tim & Tyler – together in studio :35
Tyler Hubbard – “I’m always a big fan of collaborating in person and having that experience in the studio during the creative process. Even if the song’s been written, I think it’s great to go in there and bring it to life together.”
Tim McGraw – “Yeah there’s nothing like the energy, and you can see that in the video, the energy that we had and the fun we were having doing it. And especially this song in particular, I think this song lent itself to us being together in the studio, if nothing else, but for the title of the song. But the energy of the song I think really needed that. And I think that it really paid off in spades. I mean, I’m sure it would’ve worked any other way that we had done it because this song is so great.
