If you’ve seen Brantley Gilbert on awards show red carpets in the last couple of years, then you know he cleans up nicely and he’s been looking pretty sharp, thanks to his wife, Amber. Brantley says, “I think she’s definitely kinda easing me into that. I mean, if you remember I have showed up in tank tops, camouflage tank tops. Even at one awards show I was running late and I was on my motorcycle and got caught in the rain and so I just showed up in what I had on.”
But since getting married, and knowing how much his wife likes to get dressed up for those special nights, Brantley is happy to play along, although he thinks she’s gorgeous no matter what she’s wearing. He says, “She’s absolutely beautiful to me when she’s around the house in yoga pants.” He laughs and says, “I’m a yoga pants fan and my wife is hotter than fire, so she’s always beautiful to me. But I do know she enjoys getting dressed up and I try my best now to kind of play along. You know she likes seeing me dressed up. It’s not my favorite thing in the world but I’ll do it for her.”
We look forward to seeing what Brantley and Amber will be wearing this Sunday night when they walk the red carpet together at the ACM Awards on Sunday night in Las Vegas. Besides attending the awards, Brantley will be performing at the ACM Awards Official After Party this Sunday night in Las Vegas, and since Lindsay Ell will be part of the event as well, there’s a good chance they will perform their latest single, “What Happens in a Small Town,” together.
