Brantley Gilbert isn’t known to cry very often, but ever since he and his wife Amber found out they’re expecting their first child, a baby boy, in November, he admits he’s been shedding quite a few tears.  He says, “I’m a little bit emotional about this stuff right now. I can’t look at an ultrasound picture without crying. Only about that, that’s it. That is literally the one thing that may get a tear out of my eyes is this baby, man.”

Something that has been especially thrilling for Brantley is getting to feel the little guy moving in his wife’s belly.  He says, “It’s got to where I can feel him every now and then, like if he moves she’ll call me in there and then I’ll put my hand on her belly and I’ll wait for like 30 minutes and he don’t move at all. But there’s been a couple times when I’ve caught him moving.  It’s awesome, man, we’re excited.  We can’t wait.”

Brantley will have plenty to keep him busy while he waits for Baby Boy Gilbert’s arrival, with the release of his brand new single, “The Ones That Like Me,” and the summer leg of The Devil Don’t Sleep Tour in full swing.
