Brantley Gilbert and his fiancée Amber will tie the knot in June and Brantley says when it comes to planning the wedding, he is as involved as she would like him to be. “She makes sure she keeps me a part of what’s goin’ on,” he explains. “If she asks me my opinion, or somethin’ like, one of the things was I wanted a macaroni and cheese station at the reception ‘cause I really dig macaroni and cheese, and she made that happen, so I’m pretty stoked about that.”
Brantley says he also tries to look out for him and his buddies on certain things, like when she asked how they would feel about wearing blush-colored ties, and would they prefer bow ties or traditional ties. Brantley pointed out that most of his motorcycle-riding brothers who will be in the wedding have long bushy beards, so bow ties wouldn’t even be seen on them.
Other than small details like that, Brantley says, “The thing about that wedding is I’m gettin’ to marry her, so that’s like the ultimate wedding gift. She’s awesome. She’s the one that got away for five years, we’ve know each other for ten. She’s amazing.”
Until the wedding, Brantley will be busy playing shows in Europe and North America and promoting his latest single, “One Hell of an Amen.”

Off the road for a while now, Brantley Gilbert heads to Europe to play February 28 for fans in Norway. He also plays shows in Germany and Sweden through the beginning of March.
