The cover of Brantley Gilbert’s latest album, Tattoos, features a shirtless picture of Brantley showing off his arms and torso, which are completely covered in tattoos. Brantley’s looking pretty buff in the photo, and prior to the album’s release he said he had been working out to get rid of the dad bod he had developed after the birth of his first two kids.  Several years ago, Brantley toured with Tim McGraw, who is probably one of the fittest guys in country music, so we wondered if he maybe picked up any of Tim’s workout routines, like Crossfit, to get in shape.

“No! Hell no. No. When I was on the road with Tim McGraw, I had nightmares at night about him knockin’ on my bus till one in the mornin’ trying to get me to go work out with him. If you cut Tim McGraw, I’m pretty sure, like, 99% sure he would bleed chrome like the Terminator. This dude works out like it’s his job. I have all the respect in the world for that, but no, CrossFit was never really my thing.”
