Brantley Gilbert will soon be heading to Riviera Maya, Mexico for an event called Boots in the Sand, with fellow artists Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington and others, and he says he’s looking forward to spending some time on the beach. While his latest single, “Bottoms Up,” gets ready to crack the top 20, Brantley willll be doing some sightseeing in Mexico.
“When I’m in the beach, I tell ya the first thing I do is like any bachelor, I think that’s got a brain on him, is gonna go check the scenery to see if there’s any good lookin’ women walkin’ around,” he confesses.

Brantley laughs and says, “(She) might just have a beautiful personality and (be) just as pretty on the inside as she is out, and all that stuff. We look for that. Usually the bikinis are the first sign of how big their heart is, I think.”

Boots in the Sand will take place February 23 – 27 at the Hard rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

“Yah, goin’ into Mexico for ‘Boots in the Sand’. I’ve only been to Mexico once before and I actually really enjoyed myself. We went when it was real cold back home. I love the sun, I don’t really like a whole lotta cold weather.
