I think most of us would consider Brantley Gilbert a bit of a tough guy, but he admits he was, and still to this day is a mama’s boy and he can already see his 17-month-old son, Barrett, following in his footsteps. In fact, Brantley says, “I’m working on a song right now where one of the lines in it says, you know, ‘I already know you’re gonna be a mama’s boy, but it worked out fine for your dad,’ because I was the same way. Believe it or not, I was a mama’s boy and always will be.”
Brantley hasn’t said whether the song he’s working on will be on his next album or not, but there’s a good chance that it will be, along with his latest hit with Lindsay Ell, “What Happens in a Small Town.”
Brantley Gilbert – mama’s boy song :17
“I’m working on a song right now where one of the lines in it says, you know, ‘I already know you’re gonna be a mama’s boy, but it worked out fine for your dad,’ because I was the same way. Believe it or not, I was a mama’s boy and always will be. So he’s got that coming for him and like I said, it worked out fine for his dad so I’m excited.”
