CURRENT SINGLE: “Hard Days”
Brantley Gilbert’s latest song is deeply personal to him, but he admits, “I was not in the room when the song started. It was Logan Wall, Jimi Bell, Jay Brunswick and Brock Berryhill, who’s an incredibly close friend of mine – they’re all just incredibly talented songwriters. But Brock called me and told me they had started something that he wanted me to hear.”
Once Brantley heard what the writers had come up with so far, he says, “I mean, just immediately, I loved what it said, I loved the way it sounded and it hit home.”
Had it not been for Brock inviting Brantley to help finish “Hard Days,” he could have missed out on what ended up being a very personal song, and he says, “I can’t tell you how proud I am and how appreciative I am that these guys let me be a part of this song and let me put my ten cents in as a writer, and I can’t wait to see what this song does for folks.”
