(AUDIO) Brantley Gilbert Learns To Embrace Nashville

Brantley Gilbert just released his new single, “Bottoms Up,” which is his first new release in over four years and he says it was the right song for him to come back with because, “When it was written, it just came across really fun. It was fun to write, it was fun to play for the first time. We love the demo on it, and when my band got their hands on it, man they took it to a whole new level.” The song has a bit of a different sound for Brantley but he says it’s because he doesn’t write with some kind of formula. “It’s a little bit different, but we never really sit down to write number one songs. We never sit down to write hits,” he says. “We just sit down to write whatever song we find fit for the moment, and this one turned out great. I love it, and I hope everybody else does too.”

So far Brantley’s fans seem to love the song. It debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart and the video has already been viewed the video on VEVO over 1.2 million times.
