Brantley Gilbert has definitely grown up and gone through some changes since he first got into music, and looking back he says if he could offer his younger self any advice he would probably tell himself two things. The first is, “Don’t take yourself so serious.” He says also, “I try to teach myself a lesson in moderation, but I don’t think that I got that all the way figured out.”
While Brantley admits he’s still a work in progress, he’s definitely come a long way. For now he’s enjoying throwing a “Small Town Throwdown” every night out on the second leg of his Let It Ride Tour.
