(AUDIO) Brantley Gilbert Ready To Rock Arenas In The New Year

Brantley Gilbert spent 2015 alternating headlining his own shows and being the special guest on Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival. For 2016, the back-to-back platinum outlier is anchoring his biggest tour yet in arenas coast-to-coast.

After kicking The Black Out Tour off in Amsterdam in November, the man who hit #1 with “One Hell of An Amen” brings his arena-sized show to North America, starting with Saginaw, Michigan’s Dow Events Center on January 28, Lexington, Kentucky’s Rupp Arena January 29 and Terre Haute, Indiana’s Indiana State University Hulman Center January 30.

While lots of people headline shows, taking it to an arena is a whole other kind of live experience – and the Georgia born songwriter is up for the challenge again. Indeed, he’s looking forward to it. What can fans expect, and what’s it gonna be like?

Brantley tells us about his vision for the set list and production: “There’s a lot of emotion you can fit in there. If you look at our set list, you’re going from songs about drinking and partying, to songs about leaving and loss and death. It’s a lot to fit into 75 minutes…it’s almost like it’s a full body experience, because you’ve experienced every emotion, and had a lot of things visually, that to me, watching that show would blow my mind! Some of the things they do now with the screens and the lights and the effects, are just amazing. I feel like they help invoke emotion.”
