Brantley Gilbert has been a dad for a little ove3r two and a half years, and talking about how fatherhood has changed him, he says, “A lot of folks can relate to this who are parents, is everything about your life changes. You change as a person.”
Brantley says because of his son Barrett and his 9-month-old daughter Braylen, “I’m doing a lot of things different, I think mainly because they’re in the front of your mind. Every decision you make, it’s almost like the first thing I think of. You know I guess I have a decision filter right off the bat.”
Brantley’s new song, “Hard Days,” is about cherishing the good times in life even more when you’ve had to go through some tough times to get there, and being a dad and the impact it’s had on him is one of those things Brantley is incredibly grateful for. He says, “There’s no way a baby can’t melt your heart more than anything I could have ever known to pray for.”
