Thomas Rhett is out on tour with Brantley Gilbert and he’s experienced just how die-hard Brantley’s fans are. He’s convinced Brantley’s fans are dedicated that they would take a bullet for him. Brantley says maybe so, but, “They know it goes both ways. I’d follow any of ‘em down a dark alley, and I’m pretty good company in a dark alley too,” he laughs.

He knows it might sound cliché, but Brantley truly considers his fans more like friends because he says, “I think the people that really support us, they know that they’re not on the outside lookin’ in, they’re actually a part of somethin’, and they’re a huge part of what we do. I don’t consider ‘em fans, I consider ‘em friends, that’s the honest to God truth. I know you hear that a lot, but I mean, these folks … a friend’s somebody that knows you and supports you. They’re spendin’ all kind a money on tickets, merchandise, CDs to come see us, if that’s not support, I don’t know what is.”

No doubt thousands of Brantley’s fans will be spending their hard earned dollars to get his new CD, Just As I Am, featuring his song “Bottoms Up,” when it is released on May 19th.
