Brantley Gilbert just celebrated his fifth anniversary of being alcohol and opiate free, but make no mistake, even sober he knows how to party and have a good time. Brantley says, “I think you can watch me at a show and I feel like it should be visible I am having the time of my life. And those shows are really my parties now, and I mean that’s one hell of a party. When you get ten to fifteen thousand people losing their minds, that’s fun. I mean that’s a party. And being able to get up there and act a fool and have fun with them and it not be all straight business and all serious, I’m a fan of chaos and mayhem. Not drinking and all that, I still have a blast, I can promise you that.”
So anybody who thinks that Brantley has gotten boring or completely mellowed out since he got sober should think again. He still knows how to have a great time and he still loves to deliver party songs to his fans, like his latest single, “The Weekend.”
