When Brantley Gilbert thinks about the best Christmas gift he ever received as a child, he says, “I think I was in third grade and I got a miniature dachshund. My parents got me a dog and that little dude was my best friend for eight years. His name was Max and he was one of the best dogs ever. So that’s probably my best Christmas memory.”
These days, Brantley’s four-legged friend is a bulldog named Sylo, who recently decided to stop touring as much with Brantley to stay at home and be a farm dog. Sylo will likely stay home when Brantley heads out on the North American leg of The Blackout Tour beginning next month, to continue promoting his latest single, “Stone Cold Sober.”
