Brantley Gilbert still has a long career ahead of him, but when he looks ahead to the end of his career, he has one primary goal when it’s all said and done. “My ultimate goal is to walk away from it knowin’ that I stayed true to myself, that I’m still me, that I didn’t let the business run me or change who I was. And, my goal is to walk away knowin’ that every single guy on this bus, there’s thirteen of us, that every single one of those guys are taken care of, that they don’t have to worry about their families, they’re kids are taken care of.”
Brantley says knowing his band and crew weren’t set up for life after dedicating themselves to his career, “That would be the biggest failure of my lifetime, to walk away and them not be financially stable enough to be good fathers or good husbands and have to dig for another job.”
One way he’ll be able to help make sure they’re taken care of is to keep putting out great music like his new single, “Stone Cold Sober.”

Brantley Gilbert – ultimate goal :32
“My ultimate goal is to walk away from it knowin’ that I stayed true to myself, that I’m still me, that I didn’t let the business run me or change who I was. And, my goal is to walk away knowin’ that every single guy on this bus, there’s thirteen of us, that every single one of those guys are taken care of, that they don’t have to worry about their families, they’re kids are taken care of. That would be the biggest failure of my lifetime, to walk away and them not be financially stable enough to be good fathers or good husbands and have to dig for another job. And, everybody in the business that I’ve worked with, to say, when I worked with that guy, he took care of me.”
