CURRENT SINGLE: “You Didn’t”
Brett Young came to Nashville as a singer songwriter with just him and his acoustic guitar, and fortunately he arrived at a time when country music had a place for his sound, and he found a producer in Dann Huff who only wanted to enhance his sound and not change it.
Brett Young – not having to change :37
“My favorite thing about getting to work with Dann Huff on my records is that he experienced my music for the first time with just me and my guitar, and his vision, for it was to not change it. And so, the guy that started leading worship with just me and my guitar, and then played bars and restaurants with just me and my guitar, is now able to have a career doing exactly that with somebody like Dann who I trust with all of my heart to just put the right musicians around the songs that are happening with just me and my guitar. So, I wouldn’t change a thing, and I feel really fortunate for that on a regular basis, that the timing of me moving to Nashville when I did, and country music and country radio being where it was when I got here was just the perfect timing for me to not have to change anything at all.”
