CURRENT SINGLE: “You Didn’t”
Brett Young’s oldest daughter, Paisley, is two and a half, and he’s already enjoying doing little girlie things with her. “She hasn’t gotten to the age yet where she’s asking to paint my nails,” says Brett. “I’m sure that’s coming soon. But she was brushing my hair yesterday.”
The hair brushing was all part of a playtime where Brett was dutifully arranging characters inside his daughter’s doll house. “I was laying on the floor with her Minnie Mouse doll house,” recalls Brett. “Minnie had to be in her bed and Daisy had to be in her chair, and they needed to have blankets on.”
Whatever Paisley wants her daddy to do during playtime is pretty much fair game as Brett is concerned. “it’s limitless to what you’ll do when your daughter starts the conversation with, ‘Will you play with me daddy?’ The answer is yes,” he says, “no matter what’s goin’ on.”
Brett’s youngest daughter, Rowan, is only nine months old, but he’s looking forward to playing beauty parlor and dolls and tea party and whatever girlie things his daughters want to do when they ask.
